Job summary

JJOBB LLP is seeking a PROJECT MANAGER to lead diverse construction projects from planning through handover. You will manage budgets, schedules and quality across renovation, interior fit-out and building improvement works in the Central Region.

The role requires a degree or diploma in a related field, 7+ years of experience in construction project management, and strong proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and MS Office. On-site leadership and cross-trade coordination are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building or Architectural Engineering.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in construction project management roles.
• Strong technical knowledge of A&A, fit-out, and reinstatement work processes.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and MS Office; able to read construction drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

• Manage renovation, interior fit-out and building improvement projects from mobilization to handover.
• Review tender drawings, contract requirements and bills of quantities for accurate scope and planning.
• Develop and maintain detailed project master programs and work schedules.
• Coordinate architectural, civil and M&E trades for logical site sequencing.
• Lead progress meetings with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.

You will oversee the full project lifecycle, ensuring high-quality delivery from initial planning through to final site handover.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage renovation, interior fit-out, and building improvement projects from mobilization to the final project handover stage.


• Review tender drawings, contract requirements, and bills of quantities to ensure accurate project scope and planning.


• Develop and maintain detailed project master programs and work schedules to track all site activities effectively.


• Coordinate architectural, civil, and mechanical and electrical trades to ensure logical work sequencing on the site.


• Lead progress meetings with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to keep all stakeholders aligned on objectives.


• Monitor site progress, manpower, and materials to ensure that all tasks remain strictly on your schedule.


• Identify potential technical conflicts or project delays and implement corrective measures to maintain high productivity levels.


• Review technical documents, shop drawings, and material submissions to ensure compliance with all project specifications and standards.

Job Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building, or Architectural Engineering.


• At least seven years of relevant experience in construction project management roles.


• Strong technical knowledge of A&A, fit-out, , and reinstatement construction work processes.


• Proven proficiency in using AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, and the standard Microsoft Office suite.


• Deep understanding of construction drawings, technical specifications, and site coordination requirements.


• Strong ability to manage project costs, variation orders, and formal progress claim processes independently.
