Job summary

HAROLD CONSULTANCY is seeking an experienced Project Manager - Operations to lead end-to-end project execution across contract logistics, warehouse implementations, and supply chain transitions. You will own projects from planning through go-live and post-implementation support, ensuring operational and customer deliverables are met.

The role requires 6+ years in logistics and 4+ years in project management, with strong stakeholder management and familiarity with WMS/ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business.
• 6+ years in logistics, supply chain, warehouse management, or contract logistics.
• 4+ years leading warehouse implementations, onboarding, or process improvements.
• 3PL environment experience preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management, presentation, and analytical skills with WMS/ERP familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project life cycles including timelines, resources, budget, and risk management.
• Coordinate site transfers, migrations, start-ups, and warehouse ramp-ups.
• Drive onboarding projects translating client requirements into deliverables.
• Oversee governance, risk escalation, and stakeholder reporting.
• Collaborate with IT on WMS/ERP and system enhancements for automation.
• Coordinate UAT and ensure readiness before go-live.
• Monitor budgets and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Project Manager - Operations to lead end-to-end project execution across contract logistics, warehouse implementations, and supply chain transitions. The ideal candidate will take ownership of projects from initial planning through implementation, system go-live, and post-implementation support, ensuring all operational and customer deliverables are met seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Execution & Strategy: Lead complete project life cycles including timeline development, resource allocation, budget management, and risk mitigation strategies.

• Operational Readiness & Transitions: Coordinate site transfers, business migrations, start-up operations, and warehouse ramp-ups (including manpower, equipment, facility layout, processes, and systems setup).

• Customer Onboarding: Drive new customer onboarding projects, translating client requirements into actionable, high-quality operational deliverables.

• Governance & Stakeholder Management: Oversee project governance, risk escalation, regular status reporting, management presentations, and structured stakeholder updates.

• Systems & Digitalization: Collaborate with internal IT teams on Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP, and system enhancement projects to drive automation and digitalization initiatives.

• Quality Assurance & Testing: Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate implementation to guarantee complete operational readiness prior to go-live.

• Compliance & Financial Tracking: Monitor project budgets and expenditure while ensuring adherence to safety regulations, quality standards, and compliance policies.

Key Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.

• Logistics Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, warehouse management, or contract logistics operations.

• Project Management Experience: At least 4 years of hands-on project management experience leading warehouse implementations, customer onboardings, start-up operations, or process improvement initiatives.

• Industry Background: Strong preference for candidates with experience in a Third-Party Logistics (3PL) environment.

• Technical & Soft Skills: Excellent stakeholder management, presentation, and analytical skills, with functional familiarity with WMS/ERP implementations and UAT processes.
