Job summary

WEE-BUILT PTE. LTD. is seeking a capable project leader to manage construction projects from planning through execution on site in Singapore. You will oversee cross-functional teams, coordinate with clients and consultants, and ensure delivery within budget and contractual obligations.

The role requires hands-on management of site meetings, documentation, RFIs/RFAs, and timely responses to project communications, with accountability for successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in private industry and residence construction projects, specifically landed property and factory projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement detailed project plans to meet contract timelines and budget goals.
• Coordinate and actively engage in meetings with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Manage weekly site meetings with site teams, sub-contractors, and suppliers to monitor progress and ensure contracted tasks are completed.
• Oversee site team documentation by tracking and submitting RFIs, RFAs, and shop drawings promptly with the project team.
• Monitor and follow up on Project Extension of Time claims to protect contractual interests related to project delays.
• Compile and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including daily and weekly site reports, application forms, and updated project schedules, ensuring an organized master file onsite.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and track all project-related emails to ensure timely communication and keep superiors informed.
• Provide guidance to Quantity Surveyors during negotiations with sub-contractors and suppliers to secure quotations and pricing within project budgets.
• Lead and manage project engineers, site coordinators, site supervisors, and workers to meet project requirements and quality standards.
• Execute additional tasks as directed by the company, including attending tender interviews and company audit meetings.
• Take full accountability for the successful delivery of assigned projects.

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Experience in Private Industry & Residence Construction Projects, specifically Landed Property and Factory projects.
