Job summary

Elegant Group (Singapore) is seeking an experienced Project Manager to plan, coordinate and implement property development projects within budget, timeline and scope in Singapore. You will liaise with internal PMs, vendors and authorities to ensure compliant delivery.

The role requires strong procurement oversight, budget management and regular stakeholder updates; a background in Real Estate/Architectural/Constructions and PMP certification are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Degree in Real Estate/Architectural/Constructions or relevant field.
• PMP certification would be an advantage.
• Minimum 8 years in property development with real estate knowledge.
• Familiar with Singapore rules, regulations and local authorities.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between internal PMs and vendors on all project matters, including deliverables and presentations.
• Manage procurement from start to end, including tenders and approvals.
• Create and monitor detailed project budgets, including reallocations and forecasts.
• Lead regular project meetings and document assigned tasks.
• Coordinate architects, consultants and contractors to meet regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with authorities to expedite necessary approvals when needed.
• Track milestones and communicate progress, issues and mitigation plans to stakeholders.

Job description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders and project team members.

Main Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between internal PMs & vendors on all project matters, including managing project deliverables which includes making presentations, liaison with various internal stakeholders
• Direct involvement in all procurement matters from start to end, including calling of tenders to contract approvals
• Creates and manages detailed project budgets. This includes supervising budget re-allocations, change orders, commitments, expenditures, forecasts and analysis on a regular basis
• Leads regular scheduled project meetings and documentation of assigned tasks
• Coordinate and monitor various functions of all parties, including the architect, consultants and contractors to ensure projects are executed in compliance with relevant authorities’ requirements
• Liaise with relevant authorities, if necessary, to expedite with the necessary approvals
• Track project milestones and deliverables and to effectively communicate to the stakeholders of the project progress, issues and mitigation plans

Requirements

• Degree in Real Estate/Architectural/ Constructions or other relevant fields
• Architectural background and PMP certified would be of an advantage and preferred.
• Min 8 years or more of experience in property development with good knowledge of real estate and property architecture planning
• Well versed in Singapore property development and rules and regulations of the relevant authorities
• Good knowledge of authorities submissions, conversant with local codes, and regulations and procedures in Singapore
