Job summary

Guan Ho Construction Co (Pte) Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead planning, management and financial control of projects, ensuring on-time delivery and profitability.

You will supervise site activities, control costs, coordinate with clients, consultants and authorities, chair progress meetings and drive lean construction. Five+ years of PM experience and at least two completed Singapore projects with contract values above S$200 million are required.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of project management experience.
• Completed at least two Singapore projects as PM with contracts > S$200 million.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver projects with effective cost management and site activity control.
• Ensure quality standards and on-time handover within budget.
• Monitor progress and report to management.
• Liaise with clients, architects, consultants and authorities.
• Lead subcontractor and supplier selection and coordination.
• Chair project meetings to maximise productivity and value engineering.

Job Summary

Project Manager plays a critical role in the realization of company strategy and is responsible for the planning, management, coordination, and financial control of project, ensuring project is completed on time and within budget, and all project objectives are met profitably. The Project Manager oversees the project to ensure desired result is achieved, the most efficient resources are used and the different interests involved are satisfied.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Responsible for planning and the successful delivery of the project at hand, through proper management of project cost and site activities, which includes effective planning, scheduling and allocation of work to staff and subcontractors
• Ensuring specified Quality Standards are met for project handover that is within budget and on time.
• Monitor and report project progress to Management.
• Ensuring strict adherence to company policies & procedures and external authorities such as occupational health and safety regulation and statutory and regulatory building codes and regulations.
• Liaison with Client, client representatives, architect, consultants, and authority.
• Participation in the evaluation and award of Subcontractors and Suppliers.
• Chairing project meetings to maximize site productivity and project constructability through lean Construction planning.
• Proposal of value engineering that maximizes the Company's position in terms of cost and time.
• Maximize project profitability and ensure early handover of project
• Participate in Company improvement efforts.
• Assist in preparation of Tender Documents.
• Perform any other duties assigned by D&T Director and the Management.

Requirements

• 5 or more year of experience as Project Manager
• Completed 2 or more projects in Singapore, as Project Manager, for relevant projects (i.e, hospital, offices or labs) with contract value above S$200 mil
