Siemens Mobility Singapore invites you to join an internship focused on Railway Electrification for a Mass Transit System. You will support PM activities, integrate with the PM team, and assist with basic system design and configuration changes under engineering supervision.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Master’s in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Support on Project Manager activities for a Railway Electrification project.
  • Integrate into the Project Management team.
  • Carry out basic system design works.
  • Assist configuration and change management with Engineering team.
  • Maintain/update configurations for Power Supply System projects.
  • Monitor high level project schedule and milestones (dashboard).
  • Collaborate with project teams across stages and with subcontractors.

Your Role – Impactful, Meaningful And Future-Oriented

To participate in a Railway Electrification project for a Mass Transit System in Singapore. The project scope includes the design, manufacturing, delivery, installation and placing in operation the Power Supply and Control Equipment required to operate a public transportation system. Power supply equipment for 22kV distribution level, 1500VDC / 750VDC traction power system as well as low voltage systems are included in the scope of delivery.

  • Support on Project Manager activities
  • Integrate into the Project Management team
  • Carry out basic system design works
  • Support configuration and change management activities with assistance from Engineering team
  • Maintain and update list of configurations for various ongoing Power Supply System
  • Monitor high level schedule of all the projects with key milestones: dashboard
  • Close relationship with project teams for better understanding of the different stages of the projects
  • Monitor performance of installation works with our subcontractors
  • Monitor weekly the Overall Progress of the Projects: KPIs performance
  • Familiarize with the financials of the Projects: costs, revenue, cashflow/invoicing to customer, working closely with the Commercial PMs.
What You Need To Make Real What Matters.
  • Undertaking a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Masters in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Able to work independently and a good team player who can work well in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office application.

To be eligible for this position, applicants must possess a Valid Student Pass in Singapore or satisfy the Ministry of Manpower’s Work Holiday Pass (WHP) requirements.
