Job summary

CHINT in Singapore APAC headquarters is seeking a full-time Electrical/Project Support professional. You will provide technical support for electrical engineering works aligned with design, specifications and requirements, while helping the project team match schedule and planning during implementation.

You will have opportunities to develop through meaningful work and learning projects, contributing across kickoff, execution, and client meetings as the project advances.

Qualifications

• Diploma or above in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years' relevant experience in engineering or project management.
• Knowledge of electrical power equipment is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist in project kickoff and clarify requirements.
• Support engineering activities during execution, including design drawings, testing and commissioning.
• Review design documents for compliance with industry standards.
• Support drawing confirmation, approvals, progress tracking, delivery and commissioning.
• Represent CHINT in client project meetings.

Job description

You will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise for electrical engineering related works, ensuring that they are aligned with the project’s design, specifications, and requirements. Additionally, you will support the project management team to align with the project schedule and planning during the project implementation.

The roll is a full-time position based our Singapore APAC headquarters office.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the project kick-off meeting at the beginning of each project implementation and clarify the project requirements.
• Participate in engineering activities during project execution, such as scope of work a, project documents’ submission, attend site queries and site installation issues that are related to drawing design, testing and commissioning.
• Review and communicate detailed design documents submitted by factories and ensure compliance, industry practices & standard for the submission to customers.
• Support the project management team for the overall management of the drawing confirmation, approval, progress tracking, delivery & installation and testing & commissioning till the project handover stage.
• Represent CHINT during client project meetings relating to related project execution matters.

Requirements

• Diploma or above.
• Familiar with project management, electrical or engineering management.
• At least 2 years of related working experience.
• Product knowledge: Power & Distribution Transformers, MV switchgear (AIS/GIS), Low Voltage Switchgear assemblies would be highly advantageous.
• Excellent project management, organization and coordination capabilities, proficient customer communication skills, and strong execution drive.
• Proficient in AutoCAD software and other project management software.- Driven, high energy individual who strives for success.
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese is essential to liaise with our Chinese colleague / counterpart in China HQ
