Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering with a power focus preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience implementing electrical system projects.
• Proven ability to independently run projects and coordinate stakeholders.
• Experience with site installation and delivery activities.
• Mandarin language ability is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation of electrical system projects from planning through installation, commissioning, customer acceptance and close-out.
• Manage project scope, schedule, resources, cost, invoicing, cash flow, risks and delivery to meet contractual, quality and financial requirements.
• Coordinate installation and delivery of electrical equipment at customer sites (transformers, switchgear, cables).
• Engage and manage external suppliers, logistics providers, installation subcontractors and other partners.
• Support procurement activities, supplier coordination, project changes, claims and contract matters.
• Act as key customer contact and escalation point throughout delivery, maintaining relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Work independently to manage multiple projects concurrently, from small equipment installs to multi-million-dollar systems.
• Support sales during tendering/pre-sales with technical input, cost information and project implementation considerations.

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the end-to-end implementation of electrical system projects in Singapore, with a strong focus on hands-on project delivery, customer coordination, and execution across equipment such as transformers, switchgear and related electrical systems.

Job Description

• Lead the implementation of electrical system projects from planning through installation, commissioning, customer acceptance and project close-out.
• Manage project scope, schedule, resources, cost, invoicing, cash flow, risks and overall delivery to ensure projects meet contractual, quality and financial requirements.
• Coordinate the installation and delivery of electrical equipment such as transformers, switchgear, cables and other related systems at customer sites.
• Engage and manage external suppliers, logistics providers, installation subcontractors and other project partners required for successful project execution.
• Support procurement activities, supplier coordination, project changes, claims and contract-related matters.
• Act as the key customer contact and escalation point throughout project delivery, maintaining strong relationships with customers and other external stakeholders.
• Work independently to manage multiple projects concurrently, with project values ranging from smaller equipment installations to multi-million-dollar electrical system projects.
• Support the sales team during tendering and pre-sales activities by providing technical input, cost information, product pricing support and project implementation considerations.
• Ensure all project activities comply with applicable health, safety and environmental requirements.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering; a specialization in Electrical Power Engineering is highly preferred.
• At least5 yearsof hands-on experienceimplementing electrical system projects.
• Strong practical experiencemanaging electrical project implementation, including site installation and delivery activities.
• Good workingknowledge of electrical systems and products, ideally including transformers, switchgear, cables and related power distribution equipment.
• Proven ability to independently run projects and coordinate customers, suppliers, subcontractors, logistics providers and other external resources.
• Experience managing project schedules, costs, risks, procurement, variations/claims and project close-out.
• Strong customer-facing, coordination and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in a project-driven environment.
• Existing network or familiarity with electrical installation subcontractors, suppliers and other project resources in Singapore is highly advantageous.
• Ability to speak Mandarin is an advantage.
