Job summary

The Edge Partnership, a global recruitment specialist, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst for our US MNC client in Singapore. You will help drive financial and operational performance through a newly formed FP&A function and partner with project, operations and commercial teams across three markets.

In a project-driven business, you will focus on project finance governance, robust forecasting, budgeting and reporting, and embedding best practices across the regional portfolio.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting/Finance.
• Strong analytical capability with hands-on WIP and POC accounting.
• Proficient in advanced Excel and Microsoft Dynamics; BI tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze the financial performance of projects and business units, proactively flagging risks and opportunities
• Lead the annual budgeting exercise and rolling forecast cycles, including ongoing forecast updates and budget tracking to ensure accurate financial reporting across the regional business
• Produce management reports and variance analyses and represent the commercial function in internal meetings and cross-functional initiatives
• Contributing to improvements in commercial tools, processes, and systems, and helping build stronger commercial awareness across project teams

Job description

We are working with an established US MNC to identify a Senior Financial Analyst who will help drive the organization's financial and operational performance.

Based within a newly formed FP&A function, the role plays a key part in strengthening project-finance governance, improving financial outcomes, and embedding best-practice budgeting and forecasting across the regional business. You will collaborate closely with project, operations, and commercial stakeholders to drive robust forecasting, reporting, and performance management spanning three markets.

As the business is project-driven in nature, project finance is a core focus of this role.

Qualifications:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting/Finance
• Minimum 3 years of commercial, project finance, or cost management experience within consulting, construction, or infrastructure-related environments preferred
• Strong analytical capability and hands on experience in work-in-progress (WIP) and percentage-of-completion (POC) accounting
• Proficient in advanced Excel/Microsoft Dynamics and familiar with business intelligence or reporting tools preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage a range of stakeholders
