Job summary

Good Job Creations (Singapore) Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Design Engineer to manage diesel and gas generator system projects from concept to delivery. You will translate customer requirements into technical designs, drawings, and layouts while coordinating with sales, procurement, and production.

You should have at least 3 years in engineering design within manufacturing, a solid grasp of mechanical and electrical principles, and experience preparing proposals and technical documents.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in product or engineering design within manufacturing.
• Knowledge of industrial engines, diesel or gas generator systems.
• Experience with technical drawings and engineering specifications.
• Ability to prepare technical proposals and supporting documents.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering design and customization projects for diesel and gas generator systems based on customer requirements.
• Prepare technical proposals, engineering drawings, and system layouts, including plot plans, P&IDs, single-line diagrams, and wiring diagrams.
• Perform engineering calculations, develop equipment specifications, and prepare project costing to support technical and commercial proposals.
• Coordinate with sales, engineering, procurement, production, and QA teams to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery.
• Review technical documents, tender specifications, and engineering designs to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Liaise with equipment manufacturers, vendors, EPC contractors, and business partners to source suitable components and develop customized solutions.
• Manage project schedules, technical documentation, and engineering deliverables while resolving technical issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support gas generator business development initiatives through technical consultation, proposal preparation, and collaboration with dealers and external partners.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in product design, engineering design, or related engineering roles within the manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of industrial engines, preferably diesel or gas generator systems.
• Good understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles, including product and system design.
• Experience in preparing technical drawings, engineering specifications, and technical proposals.
