Job summary

AIM RECRUIT CONSULTANCY PTE. LIMITED is seeking an Application Engineer (Genset/Engine) in Singapore to study feasibility, review specifications and propose practical solutions for inquirer documents.

You will lead discussions on installation design for exhaust and fuel systems, support pre-sales inquiries, prepare project cost estimates, coordinate with engineering, supply chain and vendors, and ensure ISO processes are maintained.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical/Mechanical engineering or related field.
• Experience in technical pre-sales or solution design is preferred.
• Knowledge of genset/engine systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Study project feasibility, proposes solutions and specifications deviation from inquirer documents.
• Work on tender specification, attend to project sites for survey & assist integration proposal.
• Lead discussion with inquirer on spec change i.e installation design for exhaust & fuel supply system.
• Reviews requests for non-standard gensets and/or equipment to ensure requirements are viable.
• Respond to technical pre-sales inquires, and generates project cost estimation.
• Works with engineering team and propose solutions to customer requirements
• Work with the Senior Engineer to generate quotation for sales team.
• Work with SupplyChain and support vendors in pre-sales development & meet customers’ needs.
• Provides pre-sales technical support to distributors/dealers & maintain ISO system.

• Work on tender specification, attend to project sites for survey & assist integration proposal.

• Lead discussion with inquirer on spec change i.e installation design for exhaust & fuel supply system.

• Reviews requests for non-standard gensets and/or equipment to ensure requirements are viable.

• Respond to technical pre-sales inquires, and generates project cost estimation.
