Job summary

Riello UPS Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Project Engineer to coordinate site work, review drawings, manage documentation, and liaise with clients and consultants.

You will drive field execution, ensure compliance with codes, and support procurement and commissioning activities. You will monitor budgets and schedules, prepare shop and as-built drawings, and deliver progress claims while mentoring junior staff and collaborating with project teams to resolve technical issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years in a project engineering role.
• Hands-on UPS systems experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, MS Excel.
• Familiarity with progress claims and project finance.
• Knowledge of safety standards and local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and monitor assigned engineering projects.
• Study blueprints, schematics, manuals, and specifications to determine installation procedures.
• Install or supervise installation of equipment, with focus on UPS systems, per manufacturer and project specifications.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
• Engage with clients and consultants to interpret technical needs and ensure satisfaction.
• Conduct quality control for budgets, schedules, and project plans, and report progress regularly.
• Assign tasks and mentor junior team members to ensure quality and accountability.
• Collaborate with project managers and all relevant parties to provide technical support and resolve issues.
• Review engineering deliverables and initiate corrective actions when needed.
• Prepare shop drawings and as-built drawings as required.
• Apply strong project management and coordination skills in daily operations.
• Be proficient in electrical systems, especially UPS installation and commissioning.
• Prepare and manage progress claim schedules, including tracking completed work, preparing claim documentation, and liaising with clients or consultants for approval and follow-up.
