Job summary

Wola-Recruitment-Pte.-Ltd. Singapore-based client seeks a Site Engineer (Electrical / UPS) to support electrical and UPS-related project activities across multiple sites. You will read electrical drawings, coordinate with subcontractors, review specifications and assist with variation orders.

The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering, with at least 1 year UPS experience. MRT/street-lighting exposure and project coordination experience are advantageous.

Qualifications

• ITE / Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Relevant experience in electrical site coordination or project work.
• At least 1 year of UPS-related industry experience preferred.
• Experience in industrial or commercial projects advantageous.
• Experience in project management and site coordination preferred.
• MRT project exposure advantageous.
• Knowledge of design phases or street-lighting works advantageous.
• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work effectively as part of a project team.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematic diagrams.
• Coordinate and liaise with subcontractors on project and site-related matters.
• Review contract specifications and project requirements.
• Prepare and submit Variation Orders where required.
• Perform electrical engineering design, load calculations and fault calculations.
• Troubleshoot technical issues relating to installation, testing and commissioning.
• Ensure installation works comply with approved shop drawings, method statements, project specifications and relevant standards.
• Attend site meetings with clients and subcontractors to resolve site matters.
• Monitor project progress and site activities.
• Assist Project / Site / Construction Managers with project execution.
• Support UPS system installation, maintenance, checking and follow-up activities.
