Job summary

Thong On Industries Private Limited in Singapore seeks a Project Coordinator/Site Engineer to support project management across steel fabrication projects. You will coordinate site activities, review BOMs, prepare shop drawings with AutoCAD, and assist in cost monitoring from tendering to project completion.

We value Diploma or Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering and hands-on site experience in Singapore. Familiarity with safety standards and BCSS or safety training is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Candidate should have relevant site work experience in Singapore.
• Safety training certifications such as BCSS are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and monitoring site work schedules to meet client requirements, timelines, and quality.
• Prepare and manage BOMs, method statements, inspection checklists, and regular progress reports.
• Use AutoCAD or similar drafting software to prepare and review shop drawings in line with codes and project specs.
• Support cost estimation for new tenders and monitor budgets, material usage, and manpower allocation.
• Supervise daily site activities including steel fabrication, welding, bolting, and alignment while upholding QA and safety.
