Job summary

Convergint Asia Pacific in Singapore is seeking a Physical Security Systems Engineer to support day-to-day operation, maintenance and administration of access control and CCTV/video surveillance platforms. You will work with internal teams to manage user accounts, respond to issues, perform firmware updates, and ensure security configurations across regions, with after-hours support as needed.

Certification in Lenel OnGuard or Avigilon is a plus; strong English communication and coordination

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in configuration, installation, troubleshooting and management of Access Control or CCTV/video surveillance systems.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years supporting client-side operations.
• Hands-on experience with access control and CCTV/video surveillance systems.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity practices, site security operations and system networking.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Lenel OnGuard Certification (Advanced Access or above) and/or Avigilon certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage user accounts, access permissions and requests for Access Control and Avigilon systems, ensuring least-privilege compliance.
• Troubleshoot access control, monitoring and physical security system issues per SOPs.
• Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate support teams and follow through until resolution.
• Communicate ticket status and resolutions clearly to end users.
• Support configuration changes, firmware updates and other security-system-related activities.
• Maintain Lenel system holiday schedules and time zone configurations across regions.
• Support mobile access control devices, including logistics coordination and spare-parts procurement.
• Maintain device health and status reports and provide users with technical guidance when required.
• Manage credentials for access control/CCTV devices with regular password audits and updates.
