Search Personnel Pte Ltd is seeking a Project Engineer – Protection & Control Systems for our client in Alexandra, Singapore. The role focuses on testing and commissioning protection and control systems for SPPG 66kV/230kV/400kV projects, ensuring compliance and timely delivery.

The ideal candidate holds a diploma or degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with at least 3 years of experience, and is adept at coordinating with contractors and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in SPPG 66kV / 230kV / 400kV projects.
• SPPG EHVN Pink Pass is preferred.
• Good knowledge of protection & control systems, testing and commissioning.
• Strong coordination, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work independently and meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Test and commission protection and control systems after modification works.
• Support SPPG 66kV / 230kV / 400kV switchgear and substation projects.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, business partners and customers.
• Verify design requirements, technical specifications and project milestones.
• Resolve site and technical issues during project execution.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation.
• Monitor site progress and support testing, handover and project close-out.
• Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory and occupational health requirements.

Job description

• Position: Project Engineer – Protection & Control Systems

• Location: Alexandra

• Working Days: Monday to Friday

• Working Hours: 8AM to 5PM / 8.30AM to 5.30PM / 9AM to 6PM / 9.30AM to 6.30PM / 10AM to 7PM

• Salary: Up to $5,000 Basic + AWS + Performance Bonus (Up to 3 Months)

• Benefits: Medical Benefits ($500/year) with Dependents Coverage + 18 - 21 Days Annual Leave + Company Activities + Company Trips

• Duration: Permanent
