Job summary

Hitachi Aqua-Tech Engineering Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Project Engineer to lead the execution of water and wastewater treatment system projects, including desalination and industrial plants.

You will coordinate technical, commercial, and contractual activities across teams to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction. The role requires a degree in Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering, strong English communication, and willingness to travel overseas.

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental, Chemical, and Mechanical Engineering.
• Knowledge of water treatment, wastewater, or environmental engineering preferred.
• Basic understanding of contract laws.
• Team player with good verbal and written communication in English.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook.
• Willing to travel overseas frequently.
• 3+ years in Project/Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Project execution for water and wastewater treatment system projects including desalination, sewage, and industrial plants.
• Coordinate all technical, commercial and contractual activities on assigned projects.
• Manage project schedules, forecasting and customer relationships.
• Plan, schedule, conduct and coordinate project engineering work and review deliverables.
• Manage project status reports and change orders.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and engineering practices (ANSI, ASME, IEC, IET, etc.).
• Coordinate, monitor and control subcontractors and suppliers.

• Project execution for water and wastewater treatment system projects: desalination plants, sewage treatment plant, industrial water and wastewater treatment plant
• Coordination of all technical, commercial and contractual activities on assigned projects
• Manage project schedules, forecasting and customer relationship
• Plans, schedules, conducts, and coordinates assigned project engineering work; coordination andchecking of engineering deliverables
• Manage project status reports and change orders
• Monitors work for compliance to applicable codes (ANSI, ASME, IEC, IET & etc) acceptedengineering practices
• Accountable for the successful completion of projects management and engineering
• Ensures effective communication and coordination on assigned projects between all disciplines and all other project participants
• Responsible and accountable to ensure that all assigned personnel are coordinating their activities with other project participants, and that the requirements of the Contract are being satisfied
• Coordinating, monitoring and controlling of sub-contractors and suppliers
• Ensure that project charges are correctly represented for accounting’s closing process

Requirements:

• Degree in Environmental, Chemical, and Mechanical Engineering
• Candidates with knowledge of water treatment, wastewater, environmental engineering ispreferred
