Job summary

Cyclect Engineering in Singapore is seeking a Project Engineer to support mechanical, HVAC, chilled-water and energy‑related projects across our site operations.

You will carry out engineering calculations, review drawings and specifications, conduct site surveys and coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• :Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, engineering and execution of mechanical, HVAC, chilled-water and energy-related projects.
• Perform engineering calculations, equipment sizing and technical evaluations, including cooling loads, pump flow and head, pipe sizing, pressure drop and system capacity.
• Carry out energy-related calculations, such as energy consumption, system efficiency and potential energy savings.
• Review drawings, specifications, equipment data and technical submissions.
• Conduct site surveys and verify actual site conditions.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, vendors and suppliers.
• Support installation, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting activities.
• Ensure works are completed according to project, quality and safety requirements.

Job Responsibilities

Job Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant project experience.
• Good knowledge of HVAC and chilled-water systems, including chillers, cooling towers, pumps, AHUs, FCUs, piping and valves.
• Able to perform engineering calculations independently.
• Able to read and interpret P&IDs, mechanical drawings and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of energy efficiency, energy audits, energy-saving calculations or ESCO projects will be an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of AutoCAD or relevant engineering software is advantageous.
• Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
