Job summary

SNT TECHNOLOGIES (PTE.) LTD. is seeking an experienced engineer to join the engineering and construction team for MEP projects.

The role requires leading a team of subcontractors on live production plants in the semiconductor and technology sectors and coordinating with project stakeholders. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in the construction industry, with preferred exposure to cleanrooms and ACMV/Mechanical/Electrical/I&C designs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in relevant working experience in the construction industry.
• Experience in cleanrooms and electronics/semiconductor plants preferred.
• Design and Build experience in ACMV, Mechanical, Electrical and I&C.
• On-site supervision and coordination with subcontractors and workers.
• Ability to read Mechanical, Electrical and Process drawings.
• Knowledge of Workplace Safety and Health Council requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of subcontractors to execute construction works.
• Supervise on-site activities and coordinate with subcontractors and their workers.
• Ensure all works comply with project specs, procedures and safety requirements.
• Coordinate and monitor site progress and report to the project lead.
• Participate in testing and commissioning with customers and consultants.

Job description

• To be able to work in an engineering and construction team carrying out construction of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Process) projects, lead by a senior project engineer or manager.
• Minimum 5 years in relevant working experience in the construction industry, preferably with working experience working in cleanrooms and other electronics and semiconductor plants.
• Candidates are preferred to have Design and Build experience in ACMV, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and I&C.
• Works are mostly in 'live' production plants in the semiconductor, technology, and manufacturing industries in the field of Mechanical, Electrical and Process engineering.
• To lead a team of sub-contractors to the execute construction works.
• Supervision on site and coordination with sub-contractors and their workers.
• Ensure all works are carried out safely as per requirements of the Workplace Safety and Health Council.
• Ensure that all construction work comply with project specifications, procedures, and requirements.
• Coordinate and monitor site progress in accordance to schedule, and report back accordingly to your project lead.
• Participate in Testing and Commissioning of the completed installations with customers, sub-contractors, and/or consultants.
