Job summary

NOVATECH ENGINEERING & CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a site-focused professional to oversee M&E works on semiconductor projects. You will coordinate site activities, supervise subcontractors, and ensure compliance with regulations and specifications.

The role requires strong project management, QA/QC coordination, and effective communication within a fast-paced site environment, with safety certifications advantageous.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of various M&E systems with piping and support systems used in factories, especially semiconductors.
• Experience in semiconductor industry or general construction M&E works is an advantage.
• Independent, self-motivated and able to work with tight deadlines.
• Good communication and teamwork skills; able to coordinate with site personnel.
• Safety/work certificates such as BCSS or WAH are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site work scope including supporting Mechanical and ensuring compliance with building regulations and specifications.
• Manage project management tasks, site meetings and QA/QC coordination for mechanical works.
• Perform technical studies, identify variation work and prepare related documentation.
• Schedule, supervise and control subcontractors to complete work accurately and on time per contract.
• Study drawings and prepare work permits/documentation; undertake ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job Description:

The person will oversee the site work scope including supporting Mechanical, ensuring compliance with building regulations and specifications and managing other resources.

The person will be working with site personnel, and site activities and be highly involved in the following aspects of the business but not limited to the below:

• Project management, site meetings and coordination with any QA/QC and mechanical works.
• Technical study and identify variation work.
• Able to schedule, supervise, and control sub-contractors to carry out their work accurately and timely in accordance with the contract, and QA/QC specifications.
• Experience in study drawings and preparing work permits/documentation.
• Undertake Ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Good knowledge of various types of M&E systems with piping and support system used in factories, especially in Semiconductor factories.
• Experience in the Semiconductor industry, design/knowledge of general construction M&E works, is an advantage.
• Independent individual with a drive to make things work.
• Highly communicative and Self-motivated individual.
• Ability to communicate well in team and work with tight deadlines.
• Possess relevant safety and work certificates (BCSS, WAH) is an advantage.
