Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking an engineer to design, install and commission Building Management Systems (BMS) and to monitor ACMV/BMS operations for energy efficiency. You will develop automation control sequences, graphics, and software, and collaborate with consultants, main contractors, and vendors to ensure quality installation and timely completion.

The role involves site meetings, planning, and documentation, with a focus on achieving project milestones and ISO 19000

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) preferred.
• Bachelor or higher technical qualification in electrical/mechanical/mechatronics is expected.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, and commission Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize ACMV and BMS operations for energy efficiency and performance.
• Develop and implement automation control sequences, logic diagrams, and software.
• Design graphics in accordance with project requirements.
• Collaborate with contractors, vendors, owner teams to ensure quality installation and timely completion.
• Support energy management initiatives and drive operational improvements.
• Maintain technical documentation and ISO 19000 SOPs.

Duties

1. Project Roles:

Assist in reviewing sales handover budget to ensure that it complies with the company policies, statutory requirements and contract specifications.

Assist Manager in Project

Planning, Budget Cost Control and execution of Project

Analyze project specifications and design

Perform system sizing, equipment selection, and prepare BOM

To plan and develop the project schedules in compliance with customer requirements, deadlines, and/or milestones.

To track the project progression in the field and update the schedules regularly to ensure that the activities are progressing within the scheduled timelines.

Liaise with consultants, architects, main contractors and subcontractors for technical matters and job execution.

Attending site meetings and coordinating with stakeholders, customers, consultants, and planning the related activities for the assigned projects.

Prepare and design shop drawings, document submission and site supervision.

Plan and monitor the FAT, testing & commissioning, and inspection activities within the project scheduled timelines.

To be involve site testing, commissioning, and system troubleshooting

Sourcing and negotiating the material/sub-Contractor procurement within budget.

Ensure timely completion of the assigned tasks, particularly for the handover schedules.

Assist sales team for the variation order works.

Maintain technical documentation, SOPs for project and ISO 19000 requirement

As and when to take on new assignments.

2. Application Role:

Requirements

Min Dip/ Deg in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Mechatronics Engineer or any other relevant qualifications

Knowledge in BMS is preferred
