Job summary

Persol Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Project Engineer in Singapore to drive defined work with moderate complexity and follow a personal work plan. You will meet short-term objectives and address issues through proactive action and planning.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering, at least 3 years of professional experience, and strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. You will support the Project Engineering team and contribute to project success in a matrix

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
• At least 3 years of experience in a professional environment.
• Experience in relevant engineering or relevant industry.
• High energy level and self-starter.
• Good knowledge of Google Suite.
• Sense of urgency in addressing issues and tasks.
• Leadership skills and ability to work in a matrix organization.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise on technical aspects of project design for large-scale projects.
• Participate in resolving technical issues in the Product Department during a project.
• Coordinate project technical documentation including PPE and customer/partner documents.
• Participate in risk assessment of technical aspects and implement risk mitigation.
• Support headquarters technical support for project construction, startup and commissioning.
• Engage in necessary project processes and provide feedback via Lessons Learned.
• Support Engineering team and Project Manager, allocate resources, and meet budget.
• Execute design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles.

Responsibilities

The Project Engineer is responsible for defined work or projects with moderate complexity. In this role you will follow an individual work plan and meets day-to-day short-term objectives and resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning.

• Advise on the technical aspects of the organization's Project Design for large-scale projects.
• Participate in the resolution of organization's Product Department technical issues as they arise during a project
• Coordination of project technical documentation including the PPE documents, customer and partner documents, and technical correspondence
• Participate in the risk assessment of technical aspects of the project and the development and application of appropriate risk mitigation measures
• Support of headquarters technical support for project construction, start-up and commissioning
• Participate in the necessary project processes
• Provide feedback to organization’s proposal group and other services throughout the project using the Lessons Learned Process
• Support Project Engineering team members and the Project Manager on project issues related to engineering and assign required technical resources to the project while meeting budget
• Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product /program requirements.

Requirements
