Job summary

JCVL PTE. LTD. is seeking an Assist Principal Project Manager (PRPM)/Senior Project Manager (SPM)/Project Manager (PM) to support day-to-day contract management on site in Singapore.

You will oversee quality, safety, and timely communication with the Contractor, ensuring works meet drawings, specifications, and programme requirements. The role requires a minimum Civil & Structural engineering degree and at least 2 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Min Degree in Civil & Structural engineering.
• Min 2 years of viaduct and/or flyover or cut and cover tunnel experience in a project/construction environment.
• Proficient in relevant software programmes for planning and project work.
• Pro-active team player with good analytical and communication skills.
• Experience in civil/structural/geotechnical design will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist Principal Project Manager (PRPM)/Senior Project Manager (SPM)/Project Manager (PM) in day-to-day management of the contract.
• Advise on-site quality and safety issues.
• Determine any non-conformances on works.
• Liaise with the Contractor to rectify non-conformances and document them properly.
• Ensure decisions on-site issues are conveyed to the Contractor within a reasonable timeframe.
• Ensure works are carried out according to specifications, drawings and programme without compromising on quality and safety.
• Provide feedback on quality and safety matters and suggest improvement measures.
• Supervise the installation of instrumentation and monitoring of instrumentation.
• Lead a team of supervisors to ensure full time supervision of works on site.
• Assist in the operating of the PMCC.
