Job summary

GH15 PTE. LTD. seeks a Civil Project Engineer to assist the PM in overseeing construction activities, progress, planning, implementation, and monitoring of work schedules in line with the master and detailed work programme.

The role requires reading construction drawings, coordinating with clients and subcontractors, ensuring safety and quality control, and resolving technical issues while maintaining smooth site operations.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related disciplines.
• Able to read/understand/execute work based on construction drawings.
• Good communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Attend site meetings and inspections.
• Prepare documentation including project status reports, method statements and work procedures.
• Plan, execute, monitor and control of the project.
• Liaise and coordinate with clients, consultants, site supervisors and sub-contractors.
• Handing of technical and engineering problems.
• Supervise ongoing site activities closely.
• Ensure that quality control of the project is met.
• Ensure that construction safety rules and regulations are observed.
• Prepare necessary work and safety permits, submission documents and drawings after completion.
• Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned.

Overall Job Objectives

• 1. Attend site meetings and inspection
• 2. Preparation of documentation including project status report, method of statement and work procedure for the project.
• 3. Planning, executing, monitoring and control of the project.
• 4. Liaising and coordinating with all parties such as clients, consultants, consultants’ representatives, site supervisors, and sub-contractors
• 5. Handing of technical and engineering problems
• 6. Supervise ongoing site activities closely
• 7. Ensuring that the quality control of the project is met
• 8. Ensure that all the construction safety rules and regulations are being observed
• 9. Prepare necessary work and safety permits, submission documents and drawings once work are completed.
• 10. Any other ad-hoc tasks assigned
