Job summary

Lum Chang Building Contractors Pte Ltd is seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to oversee construction execution in Singapore. You will manage site activities from preparations to build-out and ensure work aligns with plans and drawings, while coordinating between disciplines and construction teams.

You will prepare progress reports on time, cost and quality, document meetings, and drive safety and sustainability on-site, with rotating shift duties based on project needs.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of relevant project site experience.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate between disciplines and construction teams.
• Technically inclined with strong problem solving skills.
• Willing to work on-site on rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

Your Roles

• Prepare construction progress reports based on contractual terms on time, cost and quality
• Document action items and follow-ups from project meetings
• Facilitate regular inspections to ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and legislative requirements, processes and procedures
• Drive safety and sustainability

The Requirements

• Possess a Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 3 - 5 years' of relevant project site experience
• Be able to work independently as well as acquiring good interpersonal skills to coordinate between the various disciplines and construction teams
• Must be technically inclined and possesses excellent problem-solving
• Be prepared to work on-site on a rotating shift schedule
