Job summary

INDEX-COOL MARINE & INDUSTRY PTE LTD is seeking a Project Engineer to support the General Manager in managing project activities, costing, scheduling, and reporting for marine/offshore HVAC projects in Singapore.

You will coordinate with internal teams and shipyards/clients, prepare submissions, attend meetings, and issue weekly/monthly progress reports. A degree in engineering and at least 5 years of project engineering experience are required; HVAC experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent required.
• At least 5 years of project engineering experience.
• HVAC marine/offshore experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel).
• Bilingual with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist General Manager to manage all project activities, monitor costing, progress and schedule.
• Manage project submissions and paperwork to ensure smooth execution.
• Coordinate with internal project team and shipyard/client teams through effective communication.
• Attend project meetings and factory inspections; submit and update weekly/monthly reports.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Project General Manager.

Responsibilities:

• Assist General Manager to manage all project related activities and monitoring ongoing project costing, progress and schedule.
• Manage project-related submission and paper work by ensuring all project execution smoothly.
• Work closely with the internal project team and shipyard / Client project team with effective communication and co-ordination.
• Attend project meeting and factory inspect. Submit and update weekly/monthly project report.
• Perform other duties or tasks as assigned by Project General Manager

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering or its equivalent
• At least 5 years relevant working experience as Project Engineer
• HVAC project experience for marine and offshore are preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office Word, Excel.
• Bilingual with good communication skills
