Job summary

STREAM ENVIRONMENT (S) PTE. LTD. is seeking a Construction Coordinator to lead site activities, supervise the installation team, and coordinate across departments for project execution in Singapore.

The role requires a recognized degree or diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields, with at least two years in construction and one year in Singapore. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and Adobe Acrobat is expected.

Qualifications

• Recognized degree / diploma in Mechanical / Specialist Diploma In Construction Productivity / Electrical Engineering.
• Min 2 years working experience in construction industry with min 1 year in Singapore
• Able to multi-task, independent, self-discipline, willing to learn
• Able to interact with people of all levels and teamwork
• Knowledge in AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Adobe Acrobat

Responsibilities

• Execute, plan, coordinate, monitor and commission projects as assigned by Project Manager or Team Leader.
• Supervise and take responsibility for Installation Team.
• Coordinate and liaise between departments for project implementation, design, planning, material procurement, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning, and after-sales service.
• Take measurements, check and verify contractor claims.
• Prepare monthly progress claims and manage payment certificates.
• Maintain up-to-date records and as-built drawings for O&M manuals.
• Maintain site material records and ensure inventory sufficiency.
• Liaise with consultants, main contractors, and sub-contractors on technical and coordination issues.
• Attend site meetings and prepare progress reports.
• Ensure safety and health practices, hygiene and cleanliness on site.

Job description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To be responsible for execution, planning, coordination, monitoring and commissioning projects assigned by the Project Manager or Team Leader.
• To supervise and take responsibility of Installation Team.
• To co-ordinate and liaison between departments, the daily company activities relating to project implementation, design, planning, material procurement, delivery, installation, testing & commissioning and after sales service.
• To take measurements, check and verify all claims made by contractors undertaking the company’s work.
• To prepare monthly progress claims, maintain up to date records of the claims and follow up on the payment certificate for the particular project assigned by the Project Manager.
• To maintain up-to-date records and plans of all changes make on site and updating as built drawings for future submission of Operation & Maintenance Manual during project handing over.
• To maintain up to date records of materials used on site and ensure site inventory is sufficient for continuity of works.
• To liaise and discuss with consultants, main contractor and sub-contractors concerning project’s technical and coordination issues.
• To attend site meetings relating to the project assigned and prepare progress reports as and when required by the management or the client.
• To issue and maintain up to date correspondence relating to the project assigned by the Project Manager.
• To ensure safety and health pratice, including hygiene and cleanliness matters, are being carried out and implemented at all time at the project site.
• And duties deemed ncessary by the Management.
