Job summary

Konnection Engineering Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Project Engineer specialized in Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) with a minimum of 5 years of site supervision experience. You will coordinate subcontractors, ensure adherence to safety and project rules, and help prepare work programs and schedules.

The role requires strong leadership, good communication, and the ability to work under pressure. ISO9001:2015 knowledge is a plus; location is MEGA@Woodlands, Singapore.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Engineering / utility services or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Engineering/ Utility Services or relevant fields.
• Site supervision and/or design experience is compulsory.
• Must be able to lead a team and work under pressure.
• Good communication & correspondence skills with MS Office.
• Knowledge of ISO9001:2015 is add advantage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor site and coordinate the works of sub-contractors.
• Ensure all workers implement and follow Project Rules & Regulations, Safety Rules & Regulations & Work Instructions.
• Work out the work program / Schedule.
• Ensure site works align with drawings, contract specifications and work schedule.
• Attend valuation of progress claims (site measurements) with subcontractor.
• Verify the subcontractors’ claims.
• Handle health & Safety (HIRARC) & Quality Assurance & NonConformance in the project.
• Liaise between clients, authorities and subcontractors.
• Site surveying & prepare documents for site check list.
• Liaise with relevant authorities for execution of works.
• Provide guidance to supervisor in relation to site works, ensure progress according to schedule.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.
• Site Operational Control.
• Performance, Measured & Monitoring Procedure.
• Establish, implement & update department Procedure, Work Instruction, Rules & Regulations & control documentation.
• Always aware of prevention & cost down by continual improvement.
• Prepare department reports for Monthly Management Meeting.

Project Engineer

Horizontal Directional Drilling

Location: 39 Woodlands Close, MEGA@Woodlands, #03-66, Singapore 737856.

Report To: (HOD) Project

Subordinate: Site Manager, Site Supervisor

Responsibility

• Monitoring site in coordinate the works of sub-contractors

Academic Qualification

• Must be able to lead a team and work under pressure
• Good communication & correspondence skills with Microsoft Office knowledge.
• Well versed with contract engineering specifications by law/ standard for Utility Services
• Strong analytical skills.
• Leadership style and interpersonal skills suitable for directing, training and motivating subordinate staff.
• Able to work independently without close supervision.
• Knowledge of ISO9001:2015 is add advantage
