Job summary

Prestige Technology (S) Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a proactive Project Engineer to support semiconductor manufacturing projects across gas distribution, mechanical installations, electrical and control systems, and facility hook-up works. You will coordinate site activities and ensure smooth delivery from planning through completion.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or related engineering, 2–3 years on-site project experience, and familiarity with AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering (required).
• 2–3 years of on-site project management experience.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
• CSOC and WAH certificates are advantageous.
• Self-driven, resourceful, and able to work independently on-site.
• Willingness to travel or be deployed to project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing project execution from planning to site completion and handover.
• Coordinate installation and hook-up across mechanical, electrical, control, and process systems.
• Monitor site progress to ensure on-schedule, on-budget delivery with safety and quality standards.
• Prepare documentation and project deliverables with cross-functional teams.
• Act as a point of contact for customers on project-related matters and follow up.
• Prepare technical reports and basic engineering sketches as needed.
• Liaise with subcontractors and supervise on-site activities per specifications.
• Utilize AutoCAD to support layout planning and technical coordination.
• Provide regular project updates, identify risks, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Troubleshoot site issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in managing on‑site projects
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar CAD software
• Candidates with CSOC and WAH certificates will be an added advantage
• Self‑driven, resourceful, and able to work independently on‑site
• Willingness to travel or be deployed to project sites as required
