Job summary

PICOTECH SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Site Coordination Engineer to oversee project execution from start to handover.

You will supervise subcontractors or teams on-site, conduct risk assessments, inspect sites, and prepare weekly reports to keep stakeholders informed. The ideal candidate has a bachelor degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Project Management, at least 2 years of site coordination experience, and familiarity with process piping drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or Project Management.
• At least 2 years of site coordination and execution experience.
• Knowledge of process piping systems is an asset.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings is required.
• Experience in semiconductor industry is an advantage.
• Good analytical, communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise subcontractors or teams on site during installations.
• Conduct daily risk assessments for ongoing works.
• Perform site inspections and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Prepare and submit weekly project reports.
• Manage project execution from start to finish and coordinate handover documents.
• Develop execution plans and set targets for completion.
• Maximise team effectiveness to deliver projects on time.
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
• Troubleshoot issues and support method improvements.

Job description

• Supervise subcontractors or teamsduring installation for any projects within the site.
• Conduct project risk assessment fordaily works.
• Conduct project site inspection.
• Prepare and submit project reports weekly.
• Oversee the project from the beginning to end and submit the handoverdocuments to administrative team
• Take ownership of projects, prepare an execution plan and targeted dateof completion
• Maximise the team effectiveness and ensure that the projects aredelivered on time
• Maximizing project profitability through appropriatematerial buyout (in bulk), engineering approaches with proper planning ofmanpower effectiveness
• Performany other duties in connection with the project as instructed by the ProjectManager, Dept/Section Heads.
• Acting as the principal technical liaison among theproject team, customers, subcontractors, and the company.
• Liaisewith drafters in producing detailed drawings.
• Assistin producing reports and specifications.
• Co-ordinate with customers, vendors,subcontractor and internal team to execute projects.
• Ensure the site safety and qualitystandards are met.
• Troubleshoot any problem and maintenance of theproject
• Follow company procedure and template in ensuringsmooth execution of the project
• Respond timely to client’s enquiries
• Continuously improve on the work method, setup reduction and mistakeproofing.
• Assist in other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Willing to work at Construction site, and Chemical, Process plant.
• Bachelor Degree of Mechanical / Electrical Engineering / Project Management.
• At least 2 years of experience in site coordination and execution.
• Knowledge of process piping system will be an added advantage.
• Experience in working in semiconductor industry will be an added advantage.
• Able to read Engineering drawings.
• Good analytical skill, communication, have team work spirit.
• Good interpersonal skills, problem solving, innovative and project management skill.
