Job summary

YENG TONG CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD is seeking a Project Manager/Site Lead to oversee construction projects from planning to sign-off. You will coordinate meetings with clients, consultants and subcontractors, interpret drawings, and resolve discrepancies on-site.

The role requires leadership of supervisors and crews, robust planning and scheduling, and the ability to manage end-to-end delivery while maintaining client requirements and timelines.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to lead a team.
• Analytical with ability to work independently.
• Diploma/Degree/Master in Civil & Engineering from recognized universities; quantity surveying is a plus.
• Experience in marine construction is favorable; fresh graduates may apply.
• Proficient in MS Project, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Attend meetings with client, consultants & subcontractors to ensure project requirements are compiled and executed.
• Interpret drawings and identify discrepancies; propose practical solutions.
• Plan, schedule, monitor, control and coordinate works to ensure timely completion.
• Lead a team of supervisors and workers to ensure works meet client requirements.
• Manage end-to-end delivery of projects through defined scope and detailed plans; seek sign-off with stakeholders.
• Track project status and provide regular updates to management.
• Handle a few minor projects concurrently.
• Coordinate building services works including preventive, breakdown and A&A activities.
• Apply knowledge in civil, structural, architectural, building repair, piling, A&A, plumbing, etc.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

• Able to interpret drawing and identify discrepancy within all trades and come out with a solution.


• Be responsible for the planning, scheduling, monitoring, controlling and coordination of works and ensure timely completion.


• Lead a team of supervisors / workers to carry out their works accurately and timely to ensure that works on site are carried out according to client requirement.


• Manage end to end delivery of project through defined project scope, detailed project plan & seek stakeholder's agreement for sign-off.


• Track project status to ensure delivery is on track and provide regular project updates to management.


• Handle a few minor projects concurrently.


• Be responsible for the planning, scheduling, controlling and coordinating of building services related works in terms of preventive / breakdown / A&A works.


• Good knowledge and experience in building related works such as civil engineering, structural, architectural, building repair, piling, A&A, plumbing works etc.


• Other ad-hoc duties as per assigned.

Requirements

• Efficient, Good Analytical Skills and Able to work independently.


• Diploma/Degree/Master in Civil & Engineering or equivalent, recognized universities under the BCA, possess quantity surveying skills is a plus.


• Experience in a marine construction company is favorable, however, fresh graduates may apply.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office, MS Project and AutoCad.


• Able to start work immediately.
