Job summary

F.A.S.T. Electromech Pte Ltd is seeking an Engineer to act as the primary technical liaison among clients, contractors and project teams. You will collaborate on designing, installing, testing and commissioning electrical busduct systems, conduct regular inspections and schedule maintenance.

You may travel regionally and support Mandarin-speaking stakeholders as needed. Reading internal Mandarin/English documents and responding to daily support tasks is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in engineering field.
• Willing to travel; transport and accommodation provided.
• Mandarin proficiency may be required for regional clients.
• Ability to read and respond to internal documents in Mandarin & English.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical point of contact among clients, contractors, PMs and teams.
• Collaborate to design, install, test and commission electrical busduct systems.
• Perform regular inspections and schedule maintenance or repairs.
• Carry out simple on-site troubleshooting.
• Implement work plans, risk assessments and safe-work procedures.
• Maintain project records: daily reports, RFIs and technical docs.
• Engage in workshops and training to broaden skills.

• Act as the primary technical point of contact between clients, contractors, project managers, and cross-functional teams.

• Collaborating with other engineers and workers to design, install, testing and commissioning electrical busduct systems.

• Performing regular inspections and scheduling maintenance or repairs.

• Performing simple on-site troubleshooting

• Implement work plan, risk assessment and safe work place procedures.

• Maintain accurate project records, such as daily progress reports, RFIs (Requests for Information), and technical documentation.

• Participating in various learning experiences, which may include attending workshops and training sessions.

Job Requirement

• A diploma/degree in the relevant engineering discipline.

• Willing to travel (company provide transport & accommodation)

• Proficiency in spoken Mandarin may required to support and communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients or stakeholders based in regional markets.

• Required to read and respond to internal operational documents and daily support tickets written in Mandarin & English.
