Job summary

Convergint is a leading global systems integrator delivering service excellence. The role focuses on installation, testing, commissioning and programming of security equipment in line with Convergint's standards, aiming for top project quality and client satisfaction.

You will install and commission security systems, design with AutoCAD, support Sales, manage projects, train clients on-site, and stay current on CCTV, access control and alarm technologies.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electronic, Computer, Automation, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in security, electronics, or small electronic project implementation and commissioning.
• Basic IT knowledge in security hardware, network, and database.
• Experience with security access control systems, CCTV, and alarm systems is advantageous.
• Exposure to Lenel, GE, Cisco, and S2 systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

Discovering the role

The primary responsibility of this role is the installation, testing, commissioning, and system programming of security equipment in adherence to Convergint's standards. The objective is to maintain excellent engineering project quality while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Possess a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Electronic, Computer, Automation, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Have a minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in security, electronic, or small electronic project implementation and commissioning, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Possess basic IT knowledge in security hardware, network, and database.
• Experience with security access control systems, CCTV, and alarm system products/systems is advantageous.
• Previous exposure to Lenel, GE, Cisco, and S2 systems is a clear advantage.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Display a quick learning ability and a strong focus on client service.
