Job summary

Private Advertiser in Singapore seeks a capable civil engineering professional to support on-site supervision and project management. You will assist the Project Manager with scheduling, forecasting, and coordinating technical and management aspects, while controlling costs and ensuring safety and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

You will coordinate with consultants, main contractors, and suppliers, attend site meetings, and maintain documentation to meet project objectives.

Qualifications

• BCA Recognize Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2-3 years of A&A, civil engineering or earthworks experience.
• Candidate able to commit to a 6-day working schedule.
• Teamplayer with a positive working attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in site supervision and management.
• Plan, schedule, forecast, and coordinate technical and management aspects of projects.
• Control cost of materials and labour.
• Coordinate and check engineering deliverables.
• Attend site meetings and monitor project progress with main contractor and subcontractors.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, suppliers, authorities, and agencies to ensure project success.
• Manage daily operation of project execution.
• Resolve construction problems and ensure quality control/assurance.
• Keep project paperwork up to date.
• Ensure safe work procedures to control risk.
• Familiar with relevant legal requirements.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned

• Responsible for planning, scheduling, forecasting, conducting and coordinating the technical and management aspects of projects.




• Controlling the cost of the materials and labour.




• Coordination and checking of engineering deliverables.




• Attend site meeting, inspection, and monitoring of project progress with Main Con and Sub-cons.




• Liaising and coordinating with all parties involved in the projects such as consultants, main contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers, local authorities, environmental agencies, and federal entities to ensure successfully implementation of the project.




• To manage daily operation of the project execution.




• Solving construction problems as soundly as possible.




• Acting as the quality control and assurance to ensure that the project objectives are met.




• To ensure that project paper works are properly kept and up to date.




• Ensure safe work procedures are implemented to control risk.




• Familiar with the relevant legal requirement.




• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirement:

• BCA Recognize Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
