Job summary

First Piping Engineering PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a hands-on Project Engineer to lead semiconductor and MEP projects from initiation to delivery.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, design and optimize systems, and manage budget, timeline and on-site execution. The ideal candidate holds a diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering, has at least 1 year as Project Engineer in relevant sectors, and is proficient with CAD, BIM and PM tools.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience as Project Engineer in Semiconductor or MEP.
• Experience with CAD, BIM and PM tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from start to finish with cross-functional teams.
• Engineer solutions to meet client technical requirements.
• Own delivery including budget, timeline and resources.
• Be on site with inspections, issue resolution and quality control.
• Prepare reports, documentation and client presentations.
• Identify process improvements to accelerate project delivery.

What You’ll Do

As our Project Engineer, you’ll own projects from start to finish:

• Lead Projects: Plan, coordinate and execute semiconductor + MEP projects with cross-functional teams
• Engineer Solutions: Design and optimize systems to meet client technical requirements
• Own Delivery: Manage budget, timeline, and resources to deliver on time and on cost
• Be On Site: Conduct site inspections, solve technical issues, and ensure quality
• Communicate: Prepare reports, documentation and client presentations
• Improve: Identify process improvements to make projects faster and better

What We’re Looking

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
• Min 1 year experience as Project Engineer in Semiconductor or MEP
• Experience with CAD, BIM, MS Project or other PM tools
