Job summary

PACIFIC CENTRAL TEKNIK PTE LTD is seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to support successful execution of engineering projects in town gas, natural gas, and petrochemical sectors. On-site role requiring coordination of ME&I works and adherence to safety standards.

You will report to the Project Manager, manage site activities across multiple project sites, review method statements and ITPs, and liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure projects meet schedules and quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience coordinating work sites for asset renewal or construction in oil & gas or petrochemicals.
• WSQ qualification in safety on process plants or equivalent.
• Experience supervising ME&I works on project sites.
• Site management, scheduling, and coordination for construction projects.
• Good knowledge of engineering standards, construction practices, quality control, and WSH.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, method statements, and schedules.
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills with stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and project documentation.
• Willing to work full-time on-site.
• Willing to travel and coordinate across multiple project sites.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Project Manager and assist in planning, coordinating, and executing project activities.
• Manage and coordinate daily ME&I works on-site.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, contract requirements, quality standards, and WSH regulations.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders for smooth execution.
• Monitor progress, scheduling, manpower, materials, and site activities.
• Coordinate across multiple project sites, including travel when required.
• Review method statements, risk assessments, ITPs, and PTW before site execution.
• Attend site meetings and resolve technical or coordination issues.
• Monitor project status, risks, delays, and report to the Project Manager.
• Coordinate material deliveries and subcontractor activities to support schedules.
• Carry out other duties assigned by the Project Manager or Management.

• Attend site meetings and assist in resolving technical, coordination, and site-related issues.
• Monitor site progress and report project status, risks, delays, and potential issues to the Project Manager.
• Coordinate material deliveries, equipment, manpower, and subcontractor activities to support project schedules.
• Carry out any other duties assigned by the Project Manager or Management.
