Job summary

WECRUIT PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a seasoned Construction Executive to provide strategic leadership and oversee end-to-end delivery of large-scale building projects.

You will manage schedules, budgets, quality, safety, regulatory compliance and stakeholder coordination, guiding project managers, engineers and teams to achieve on-time, within-budget delivery and a successful handover. Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Building/Construction Management or related field.
• 20+ years in large-scale building project delivery.
• 10+ years in senior project management roles.
• A-Star certification or equivalent preferred.
• PMP or equivalent project management credentials preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversee end-to-end construction delivery.

• Provide strategic leadership and oversee end-to-end construction project delivery.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, contractual obligations, quality standards and delivery risks.
• Review and endorse construction plans, tender documents and relevant submissions.
• Lead project managers, construction managers, senior engineers and other project teams.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors and stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain project progress.
• Oversee quality assurance, regulatory compliance, testing, commissioning, handover and project close-out.
• Manage defects, outstanding works and rectification activities during the defects liability period.
• Drive workplace safety and health initiatives, environmental sustainability and green building practices.
• Monitor financial performance, resource allocation and project forecasts.
• Lead continuous improvement and the adoption of appropriate construction technologies.
• Ensure compliance with applicable legislation, industry standards and professional codes of practice.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Building or Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 20 years of experience managing large-scale building projects including complex or fast-track developments.
• Minimum 10 years of project management experience at corporate or senior management level.
• Construction Professional A-Star certification or equivalent accreditation is preferred.
• PMP certification or equivalent project management credentials is preferred.
• Strong leadership, team management, analytical, planning and interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of construction project management, risk management, safety and regulatory compliance.
