Responsibilities include directing project execution, managing schedules and budgets, coordinating with clients, authorities and subcontractors, and guiding multidisciplinary teams to achieve milestones.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Building, Construction Management or related discipline recognized by the Building and Construction Authority (BCA).
• 8–10 years of relevant experience managing major building construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore construction practices, regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Proven leadership and project management skills in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead building construction projects by setting clear direction and driving project execution from planning through completion
• Manage project schedules, budgets, quality standards, and safety performance to meet targets and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, authorities, subcontractors, and suppliers to align project goals and resolve issues
• Lead multidisciplinary teams including Project Managers, Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, and site personnel to achieve project milestones
• Review and approve construction programmes, resource allocation, budgets, and deliverables to ensure project feasibility and compliance
• Monitor project progress continuously and implement corrective actions to address delays, risks, or quality concerns
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks, contractual matters, and potential delays to minimize impact on project outcomes
• Ensure strict compliance with Building and Construction Authority (BCA) requirements, building regulations, workplace safety standards, and company policies
• Prepare and present regular progress reports and updates to senior management and stakeholders
• Manage project variations, claims, procurement processes, and commercial matters to safeguard project interests
• Maintain thorough project documentation, enforce quality control measures, and ensure timely handover of completed projects
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery efficiency, productivity, and construction processes

Required competencies and certifications

• Degree or higher qualification in Civil Engineering, Building, Construction Management, or related discipline recognized by the Building and Construction Authority (BCA)
• Minimum 8-10 years of relevant experience managing major building construction projects
• Strong knowledge of Singapore construction practices, regulations, and statutory requirements
• Proven leadership and project management skills in multidisciplinary team environments
• Proficient in project planning, cost control, contract management, quality assurance, and workplace safety
