Job summary

RSM STONE FOREST ACCOUNTSERVE PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to provide leadership for subcontract works, oversee site teams, and coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction and administration to keep the master programme on track.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering, 12–15 years in engineering or construction, and proven experience managing SGD 20M+ projects, with strong contracts, cost control, and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 12–15 years of experience in engineering or construction projects.
• Experience managing large-scale subcontract projects valued at SGD 20M+.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, project costing, and variation management.
• Experience working with Main Contractors, Consultants, and large project teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for subcontract works.
• Lead and oversee Project Managers, Engineers, Supervisors, and site teams.
• Ensure effective coordination between engineering, procurement, construction, and administrative teams.
• Establish project execution plans, resource strategies, and operational priorities.
• Oversee project scheduling, work sequencing, and manpower deployment.
• Ensure engineering works are executed per drawings, specs, and method statements.
• Monitor milestones and progress against the master programme.
• Resolve technical, operational, and coordination issues to avoid delays.
• Manage subcontract contractual obligations with Main Contractor.
• Oversee project costing, budgeting, and financial performance.
• Review and manage variation orders, claims, and contractual negotiations.
• Submit progress claims, documentation, and deliverables on time.
• Act as the key contact with Main Contractor, Consultants, Clients, and Authorities.
• Attend project coordination meetings and represent the company.
• Coordinate with other trades and subcontractors to avoid site conflicts.
• Provide technical guidance to project engineers and site teams.
• Ensure engineering solutions are practical, cost-effective, and compliant.
• Review engineering submissions, shop drawings, and technical proposals.
• Ensure QA/QC and safety compliance; identify and mitigate project risks.

Contract & Commercial Management

• Manage all subcontract contractual obligations with the Main Contractor.

• Review and manage variation orders, claims, and contractual negotiations.
• Ensure timely submission of progress claims, documentation, and project deliverables.

  Stakeholder Coordination

  • Act as the key point of contact with the Main Contractor, Consultants, Clients, and Authorities.
  • Attend project coordination meetings and represent the company in project discussions.
  • Ensure smooth coordination with other trades and subcontractors to avoid site conflicts.

  Engineering & Technical Oversight

  • Provide technical guidance to project engineers and site teams.
  • Ensure engineering solutions are practical, cost-effective, and compliant with project specifications.
  • Review engineering submissions, shop drawings, and technical proposals when required.

  Risk, Quality & Safety Management

  • Ensure compliance with project quality assurance (QA/QC) requirements and company standards.
  • Promote and enforce strict adherence to workplace safety regulations and site safety practices.
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.

  Team Leadership & Resource Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop project management and engineering teams.
  • Ensure proper manpower planning and deployment across the project lifecycle.
  • Foster collaboration and strong communication within the project team and across departments.

  Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 12–15 years of experience in engineering or construction projects.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale subcontract projects valued at SGD 20M+.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, project costing, and variation management.
  • Experience working with Main Contractors, Consultants, and large project teams.
