Job summary

Singapore Power Ltd is seeking a details-oriented engineer to support planning and site activities in the utilities sector. You will liaise with stakeholders, conduct site inspections, and assist in implementing workflow requirements across consultancy and site works.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma in Engineering, 2–3 years in the power/utilities field, and are proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD. Entry level applicants are welcome with on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering from a recognized Polytechnic in Singapore.
• Preferably 2–3 years of relevant experience in the power/utilities industry.
• Entry level candidates welcome; on-the-job training provided.
• Proficient in computer applications, e.g. Microsoft Office, AutoCAD.
• Strong time management and ability to juggle multiple tasks.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Good interpersonal skills with stakeholders; strong verbal and written communication.

Job description

What You'll Do:

1. Liaise with internal stakeholders to consolidate existing, upcoming, abandoned, and long-term (15-year) utility development plans to Lead Agency (LA)
2. Conduct site inspections and surveys to monitor consultancy services and site investigation works
3. Support the implementation of Major Infrastructure Workflow requirements, including project reporting, progress tracking, status updates, contract administration, and monitoring of consultancy and site works
4. Coordinate with consultants and developing agencies to facilitate and implement site optimisation initiatives
5. Perform any other duties and responsibilities related to the job scope

What You'll Need:

1. Diploma in any Engineering discipline from a recognized Polytechnic in Singapore
2. Preferably 2 to 3 years of relevant working experience in the power or utilities industry
