Job summary

Sinchen Engineering Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator / Engineer to manage project coordination and delivery in Singapore. You will report to the Project Manager and oversee projects from award to handover, ensuring on-schedule delivery, on-budget performance and required quality.

The role requires 3+ years in renovation, fit-out, M&E or construction with ability to coordinate subcontractors and prepare quotations. Strong organisation and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Building or Civil Engineering or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years as a Project Coordinator, Project Engineer or Estimator in renovation, fit-out, M&E or construction.
• Able to prepare quotations and coordinate subcontractors independently.
• Interpret scopes of work and drawings with knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting and flooring.
• Familiar with electrical and plumbing installation standards and renovation workmanship standards.
• Valid Class 3 driving licence is required.
• Strong organisation to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor project schedules from award to handover.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, material deliveries and site access.
• Conduct quality control inspections and rectify defects prior to handover.
• Identify, document and price variation orders with client approval.
• Assist in quotations and RFQs for commercial projects including costing.
• Maintain accurate project records, photos, progress reports and handover docs.
• Provide regular progress updates to clients and management.
