Job summary

Ley Choon Group Holdings Limited is seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support planning, coordination and delivery of underground utilities infrastructure projects in Singapore.

You will work closely with the Project Manager, Project Engineer, internal teams, subcontractors, clients and authorities to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and in accordance with contractual and quality requirements, including SP Distribution Cable Work Order submissions through NOVA.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Civil Engineering, Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience, preferably in project coordination, construction, utilities, or infrastructure projects.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience in SP Distribution Cable Work Order and claim submission through NOVA.
  • Familiarity with SP Distribution requirements, cable works, Work Orders, and project claims will be an advantage.
  • Good understanding of project coordination, documentation, and progress tracking.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with good attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word; knowledge of project management systems/tools is an advantage.
  • Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with different stakeholders.
  • Able to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Willing to conduct site visits and follow up on project matters as required.
  • Able to meet project submission targets, including a minimum of 5 Work Orders per week or a total monthly Work Order submission value of at least S$500,000.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Project Manager and Project Engineer in the planning, scheduling, coordination, and execution of project works.
  • Coordinate daily project activities and follow up with internal teams, subcontractors, clients, consultants, and authorities to ensure smooth project progress.
  • Monitor project progress against approved schedules, work scopes, specifications, and contractual requirements, and highlight any issues requiring follow-up or corrective action.
  • Coordinate SP Distribution Cable Work Order submissions and claim documentation through NOVA, ensuring submissions are accurate, complete, and timely.
  • Prepare, compile, and maintain project documentation, including method statements, risk assessments, work orders, progress reports, monthly reports, claims, and supporting documents.
  • Prepare and submit monthly progress claims, ensuring all supporting documentation and work records are properly verified and submitted within the required timelines.
  • Track submitted Work Orders and project claims, follow up on outstanding submissions, and maintain proper records for monitoring and reporting purposes.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor work progress and verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality requirements, and safety standards.
  • Liaise with relevant authorities, clients, consultants, and other stakeholders on project-related submissions, requirements, and follow-up matters.
  • Assist in preparing regular project updates, progress reports, and presentations for management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify potential delays, discrepancies, or coordination issues and escalation them to the Project Manager / Engineer for timely resolution.
  • Maintain accurate project records and ensure proper documentation for audit, billing, and project close-out purposes.

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator to support the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of projects. The successful candidate will work closely with the Project Manager, Project Engineer, internal teams, subcontractors, clients, consultants, and relevant authorities to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with contractual and quality requirements.

The role will involve coordinating day-to-day project activities, monitoring work progress, managing project documentation, and supporting SP Distribution Cable Work Order and claim submissions through NOVA. This position is suitable for an organized and hands-on individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced project environment.

Key Responsibilities
