Job summary

Ley Choon Group Holdings Limited is seeking an experienced Civil Project Coordinator to drive successful delivery of civil engineering and construction projects in Singapore. You will work with the Project Manager, clients, and project teams to transform plans into outcomes, overseeing planning, cost, safety, claims, and coordination to keep projects on track.

Responsibilities include reviewing proposals, coordinating with stakeholders, monitoring progress and safety, and preparing reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (PEB- Singapore accreditation)
• 3-4 years in civil engineering or construction project management
• Strong knowledge of SP Group procedures, utility coordination, and Singapore regulatory requirements
• Understanding of project planning, coordination, claims, site execution, and safety requirements
• Strong interpersonal, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated, independent, and able to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Commitment to quality, safety, and attention to detail
• Driving licence (Class 2 or 3) advantageous for site mobility

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and managing project scope, schedule, resources, and deliverables

• Coordinate with operations, safety, claims, drafting to resolve issues
• Prepare project reports, submissions, claims and other documentation
• Attend meetings and provide updates on key actions
• Lead and coordinate project team for clear communication and execution
• Support issue resolution to maintain progress

Job description

Play a key role in the successful delivery of civil engineering and construction projects, working closely with the Project Manager, clients, and project teams to turn plans into successful outcomes. Drive project progress across planning, cost, safety, claims, and coordination, while proactively managing challenges, supporting the project team, and contributing to the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of quality projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and managing project scope, schedule, resources, and deliverables.

• Review project proposals, specifications, drawings, and client requirements to support effective project planning and execution.

• Liaise with clients and coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution.

• Monitor project progress, cost, productivity, quality, and resource utilisation against project targets.

• Closely monitor project submissions, claims, documentation, and approvals to ensure timely and accurate completion.

• Support the Project Manager in ensuring project safety compliance and performance in accordance with regulatory, company, and client requirements.

• Conduct regular site checks and work closely with EHS teams to identify and address safety gaps.

• Identify project risks and support the implementation of appropriate mitigation measures.

• Coordinate with operations, safety, claims, drafting, and other relevant teams to resolve project issues and maintain work progress.

• Support the preparation of project reports, submissions, claims, and other required documentation.

• Attend management and client meetings, provide project updates, and follow up on key actions and issues.

• Assist in leading and coordinating the project team to ensure clear communication, accountability, and effective execution.

• Proactively support issue resolution and ensure continuity of project progress.

• Contribute to continuous improvement and overall team and organisational performance.

Qualifications

• Recognised Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an institution accredited by the Professional Engineers Board (PEB), Singapore.

• 3-4 years of relevant experience in civil engineering and/or construction project management.

• Strong knowledge of SP Group procedures, utility coordination, and Singapore regulatory requirements.

• Good understanding of project planning, coordination, claims, site execution, and safety requirements.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

• Self-motivated, independent, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

• Strong commitment to quality, safety, and attention to detail.

• Possession of a valid Class 2 or Class 3 driving licence will be an added advantage to support site mobility.

• Work Schedule: 6-day work week.

• Location: Office at No. 3 Sungei Kadut Drive, Singapore 729556 (North Singapore)
