Job summary

Aljunied-Hougang Town Council seeks a capable Project Coordinator to support the Project Manager and team in coordinating painting, roofing, electrical and other improvement works. You will liaise with consultants, QS, architects and contractors, attend meetings, take minutes, and prepare plans, designs and costings.

Strong communication and teamwork are essential. The role requires attention to detail, proactive problem solving and IT literacy, with the ability to work under minimum supervision

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Building, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline.
• Relevant experience in building maintenance, upgrading, or construction projects preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Meticulous attention to project details (due dates, scope, costs, etc).
• IT savviness and basic documentation/record-keeping abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager and Project Team with coordination, including repainting, roofing, electrical and other improvement works.
• Coordinate with Consultants, QS, Architects, Contractors and agencies; arrange meetings and email communications.
• Attend meetings and take minutes for project work.
• Prepare administrative paper documents (plans, designs, drawings, costings, etc).
• Oversee and monitor project progress schedules to ensure timelines and quality standards are met.
• Conduct onsite inspections and keep proper records of work and housekeeping.
• Highlight discrepancies and report site progress or irregularities.
• Verify/assess job status, progress and claims.
• Assist with any other tasks as assigned by HOD/Supervisor.
