WBLS Engineering PTE. LTD. is seeking a Project Assistant Engineer to support the Project Management and Engineering teams in planning, coordination, and execution of technical projects.

The role bridges the design/engineering phase and on-site implementation, helping ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. Training and collaboration with senior staff will be part of the role.

1. JOB SUMMARY

The Project Assistant Engineer supports the Project Management and Engineering teams in the planning, coordination, and execution of technical projects. This role serves as a bridge between the design/engineering phase and the on-site implementation phase. The ideal candidate will assist in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.

2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

a) Technical Support

• Assist in the preparation of engineering drawings, schematics, and Bill of Materials (BOM).


• Conduct basic technical calculations and data analysis to support project design.


• Review technical specifications and ensure that materials/equipment meet project requirements.


• Troubleshoot minor technical issues on-site or remotely, escalating major issues to the Senior Engineer.

b) Project Coordination &Administration

• Maintain and update project schedules, trackers, and progress reports.


• Coordinate with vendors ,suppliers, and subcontractors regarding delivery schedules and technical queries.


• Attend project meetings, take minutes, and track action items to ensure closure.


• Manage project documentation, including RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and change orders.

c) Site Support

• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality of workmanship, and safety compliance.


• Assist in the inspection and testing of equipment/materials upon delivery.


• Report site progress and daily activities back to the Project Manager.
