Job summary

MTC Refrigeration PTE. LTD. is seeking an Assistant Engineer to support the engineering department in designing, evaluating, and implementing various projects.

The role works under the supervision of Senior Engineers across multiple stages of project development. Responsibilities include preparing engineering plans, performing calculations, inspecting sites, and assisting with cost estimates and CAD drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of engineering plans, designs, and layout
• Work under the guidance of senior engineers to perform and review engineering calculations
• Assist in the inspection of project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety standards
• Help in the preparation of material requirement and project cost estimates
• Conduct tests of building materials, such as concrete, asphalt, or steel, for use in particular projects
• Help senior engineers in the development of computer-aided design (CAD) project drawings
• Assist in the evaluation, selection, and application of engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria
• Participate in project meetings and prepare regular progress reports
• Assist in resolving engineering issues by applying accepted principles, methods, and standards
• Help maintain project files and documentation
