Job summary

GD PRECISION PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Project Engineer to prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor assigned engineering projects.

You will interact with clients daily to interpret needs and ensure compliance with codes, QA/QC, and specifications. The role includes mentoring team members and coordinating with PMs, vendors, and R&D to resolve issues. The successful candidate will review deliverables, track budget and progress, and take corrective actions as needed.

Job description

Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects

Monitor compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications

Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the field

Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status

Assign responsibilities and mentor project team

Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support

Work together with vendors and R&D to resolve technical issues

Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions

Other ad-hoc tasks and/or other re-assignment of jobs by superior / management from time to time.
