Job summary

SHELL INFOTECH PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced IT project/programme manager to lead large-scale, multi-market platform implementations with a strong Trade Finance focus.

The role requires coordinating cross-functional and remote teams across time zones, while managing scope, quality, risk and budget in a fast-paced environment. Ideally you have experience in Payments, Lending, or Markets, familiarity with SDLC and banking systems, and proficiency in MS Project, Jira, Trello and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT project/programme management in banking or financial services.
• Extensive experience leading large-scale, multi-market platform implementations.
• Strong focus on Trade Finance.
• Experience in Payments, Lending, or Markets is advantageous.
• Proven ability to manage scope, quality, risk, and budget while balancing priorities.
• Strong leadership to align diverse, multicultural teams across time zones.
• Experience managing cross-functional and remote teams.
• Familiarity with IT systems, SDLC, and technical terminology.
• Proficiency with MS Project, Jira, Trello, and MS Office.
• Deep banking tech knowledge and familiarity with core banking systems listed.
• Regional expertise in Asia Pacific markets.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management; presenting progress to executives.
• Problem solving in fast-paced environments with attention to detail.
• PM certifications such as PMP or CAPM are a plus.
• Technical background in infrastructure, security, cloud, and automation is beneficial.
• Digitization of trade finance processes.

• Strong focus on Trade Finance is essential.
• Experience in Payments, Lending, or Markets is highly advantageous.
• Proven ability to manage scope, quality, risk, and budget while balancing competing priorities.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of aligning diverse, culturally diverse teams and driving accountability.
• Experience managing cross-functional and remote teams across multiple time zones.
• Familiarity with IT systems, SDLC, and technical terminology.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, Trello, and MS Office Suite.
• Core Banking Systems: Deep understanding of banking technologies and experience with solutions such as CGI Trade360, FIS ACBS, Finastra GPP, Oracle FLEXCUBE, or Oracle ERP (preferred).
• Regional Expertise: Exposure to Asia Pacific markets is highly desirable.
• Communication: Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, including presenting delivery progress to senior executives.
• Problem Solving: Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Certifications: Project management certification such as PMP or CAPM is a plus.
• Technical Background: Experience or certification in infrastructure domains, security, cloud, and automation is beneficial.
