Job summary

OnePeople in Singapore seeks a Programme Manager to lead youth outreach and community engagement initiatives. The role includes developing volunteer networks, building partnerships with schools, grassroots groups and corporates, and promoting workplace diversity.

You will curate cross-cultural conversations and manage programmes, events, evaluation, and social media engagement. The ideal candidate has a degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience and a passion for intercultural community

Qualifications

PROGRAMME MANAGER

You will initiate and develop initiatives on youth outreach and engagement, and community engagement. You will also spearhead engagement and development of volunteers/facilitators, build community partnerships and lead initiatives promoting workplace diversity.

Key requirements:

• v Degree with at least a year of relevant working experience
• v Passion for inter-racial/inter-religious community work
• v Proven ability in conceptualising and developing outreach and capacity building programmes for youths, volunteers, community leaders, workplaces and/or educators in areas of intercultural/interfaith understanding, advocacy and cross-cultural engagement
• v Track record in volunteer management, partnership development and/or corporate engagement
• v Curating facilitated conversations on cross cultural relations and social cohesion
• vPreference will be given to candidates with demonstrated experience in organising and administering Model United Nations (MUN)conferences.
• vCandidates available for immediate joining will be given additional consideration.
• v Experience preferably in:
• -Programme/event management, administration, evaluation and social media engagement
• -Track record in working with youth-based organisations, schools, grassroots/community organisations, volunteers and/or corporates
• v Adaptable, strong interpersonal skills, analytical and objective-driven
• v Ability to work well in teams yet competent in managing projects independently
