Job summary

Centre For Seniors in Singapore seeks a Programme/ Healthcare Assistant to support daily living activities and basic patient care. You will assist with grooming, transport, and collaborative care planning under supervision.

Experience with senior care is preferred. A WSQ Healthcare Support certificate and a good attitude are required. Working hours are 5 days a week, 8am–5:30pm (Mon–Thu) and 8am–5pm (Fri).

Qualifications

• Min GCE N level.
• WSQ Advanced Certificate in Healthcare Support (Nursing care or Therapy).
• Preferably with experience in providing care for seniors in community care setting e.g. senior day care.
• Good working attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide interactive activities and group exercises to clients.
• Provide blood pressure and blood sugar measurement and reading under supervision of a nurse.
• Provide personal care according to the individual needs (ie grooming, dressing, showers, bathing, toileting, transferring, meal preparation, feeding, laundry).
• Provide transport escort for clients on company transport.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Assist multi-disciplinary team with regards to the client's care plan.
• Other duties as assigned by HOP.

About the role

The Programme/ Healthcare Assistant plays a crucial role in assisting clients with daily living activities and basic patient care. Their work includes providing clinical, personal, therapy and psychosocial care, enhancing the well-being of the clients through individualized care plans.

Key responsibilities

• Provide interactive activities and group exercises to clients

• Provide blood pressure and blood sugar measurement and reading under supervision of a nurse

• Provide personal care according to the individual needs (ie grooming, dressing, showers, bathing, toileting, transferring, meal preparation, feeding, laundry)

Salary range : S2300 to $2800
